The advantage of the evaporator to be used in wastewater treatment is that the evaporation process has only physical changes, so it is not affected by the concentration and composition of pollutants, and the adaptability is particularly strong.

The core of MVR evaporation technology is to fully reuse the secondary steam generated in the evaporation system, thereby less or no external steam is required. The structure is similar to connecting the single-effect evaporator and the compressor through a pipeline into a loop, and the feature of the process is all the secondary steam generated in the evaporator are completely recycled and reused as a heat source to heat the liquid, the equipment used for this purpose is the steam compressor. The secondary steam is a low-grade steam with low-pressure and low temperature which cannot be directly used as a heat source by system, but it can be used after be converted to be high-grade steam with high-pressure and high temperature by steam compressor.


MVR evaporator equipment features:

       Energy consumption: Multi-effect evaporator uses only external raw steam, while MVR technology only consumes a small amount of raw steam, it mainly consumes electric energy, has less impact on the environment, and the energy consumption is half of the four-effect evaporator and 66% less than three-effect evaporators;

       Application: MVR evaporation technology can completely replace multi-effect evaporator in most cases, but it is not easy to use MVR technology for some solutions with higher corrosive ions;

       Off-gas treatment: MVR evaporation technology is fully recycled in the treatment of secondary steam, eliminating a lot of cooling water resources and steam energy;

       Equipment volume: Compared to the multi-effect evaporator the more effects need more area, the MVR technology is equivalent to only add a compressor volume to the volume of the single-effect evaporator. Thus the pipeline connection is more compact. The capacity of evaporator can be flexible designed by increase area of the evaporator and the power of the compressor.
